Do I have to click send for each buyer?
No. The email goes out when the order is paid. You resend only when a buyer asks or the link was spent.
Automatic delivery
You do not email the file by hand. After a paid checkout, Quay writes the order and emails a download page. The link expires on a clock and a download count you set.
The buyer pays on your Stripe Connect account, or completes a simulated checkout when this server has no Stripe secret. The paid event creates the order, counts a discount if one was used, records an affiliate commission when a referral cookie is present, and emails the download page. Without a mail key, that letter is printed in the server log so you can still see it in development.
The file stays in private storage. The email contains a page, not a permanent public file URL.
Store settings hold the default link lifetime in hours and the default download cap. A product can be stricter. Membership files can wait a number of days after purchase before they open. A license product adds one key to the same delivery.
Upload size stops at 20 MB per file. Quay does not call Zapier, send outbound webhooks to your own URL, or stamp the PDF.
From the order you can resend the page or reset a spent link. A refund revokes the download and any key that was issued. A charge.refunded webhook does the same if the refund starts in the Stripe Dashboard. A buyer who lost the email can request a library link for that address.
No. The email goes out when the order is paid. You resend only when a buyer asks or the link was spent.
On a local or preview server, a simulated checkout still runs the same delivery path and does not charge a card. Production refuses a paid checkout until a usable Stripe secret is set. Free products can still complete.
