Do I need a developer to open the store?
No. Signup, onboarding, the product form, and Stripe’s hosted Connect screens are the setup. The license API is there if you later want your own software to check a key.
Simple online store
Name the store, upload the file, set a price, and share the link. Harbor costs nothing until someone pays. The tools on the free plan and the paid plan are the same.
An account is an email and a password. Onboarding asks for a store name, a slug, a country, and a one-line pitch. The public store lives at /s/your-slug. Each product has its own page under that store.
You do not pick a theme, install an app, or connect a domain. The page is the product, the price, and the checkout. If you already have a site, paste the HTML button instead of moving the whole site.
One seller, one store. There is no team seat, no custom domain, and no plugin directory. Discount codes, a simple affiliate program, order search, refunds, and a customer CSV are included because they are part of taking payment, not because the store is trying to be a full shop builder.
A buyer can hold more than one product from the same store and pay once. A membership checks out on its own. Quay does not run a cart across two sellers.
Harbor is an application fee on each paid order and nothing before that. Studio is a monthly subscription that lowers or removes that fee. Stripe bills its own processing fee to the connected account. The numbers this server publishes are on the pricing page.
If you are comparing a $39 monthly tool that starts billing before the first sale, the comparison table is on the compare page. That table uses SendOwl’s public monthly prices from 28 Sep 2026.

No. A store has one seller login. There is no team member invite in this version.
