Does Quay check that the model is printable?
No. Quay delivers the file you upload. Test-print it yourself and include your print settings for the buyer.
Sell 3D print files
A 3D print product is the STL, 3MF, or OBJ file you upload, plus a short print note. The buyer downloads it after they pay. Quay does not slice, check, or print the model.
Zip the model files with a text or PDF note: suggested layer height, supports, infill, and the printer you tested on. One product can hold more than one file.
Each file has to be 20 MB or smaller. Split a large multi-part model across several zips if you need to. Use a photo of a real print as the public cover; the model file itself is never on a public URL.
Sell one model at a fixed price, set a pay-what-you-want minimum, or group several models into a bundle. Say in the description whether buyers may sell prints, and put the same terms in the zip.
The buyer pays on your Stripe account. Quay emails a download page that expires after the hours and download count you set. From the order you can resend the page or reset a spent link, and a refund revokes it.
Quay is not a marketplace, so share the link from your socials, a maker forum profile, or your own site.

On your own Stripe account. Harbor adds the application fee shown on the pricing page to each paid order.
What Harbor costs: no monthly fee. Quay keeps 5% of each paid order ($1.00 on a $20.00 sale), plus Stripe's own processing fee on your account.
