Can I sell a physical product on Quay?
No. Products are downloads, bundles of downloads, memberships, license keys, or pay-what-you-want files. Shipping and inventory are not part of the app.

Use Quay when you want a hosted page and a checkout link for a file, and you already know where the buyers will come from. Stay on Etsy when you need their audience, physical listings, or their tax handling.
Same job, different counter
An Etsy listing is a page inside their marketplace. A Quay product is a page on your store, plus a plain URL and an HTML button. Buyers pay with a direct charge on your Stripe Connect account. The payout lands on your Stripe balance. Quay can keep an application fee on that charge. Quay is not the merchant of record.
Etsy’s fees policy, read 8 Oct 2026, still applies if you stay: $0.20 to list, 6.5% when it sells, and payment processing on top. Quay’s prices are Harbor’s application fee or Studio’s monthly plan. Both are printed on the pricing page from the amounts this server is configured to charge.
Move a digital catalog without an importer
Quay does not sign into Etsy and does not import a shop. Download your files and your customer list from Etsy. Recreate each digital product here, set the price, and replace the link you share. Leave the Etsy listing up until you have told past buyers where the new page is.
A discount code can be a percent or a fixed amount, with an expiry and a use limit. Affiliates get a signup link and a 30-day cookie. Commissions are marked paid by hand. None of that recreates Etsy Ads or Etsy search.
When Etsy is still the right shop
Stay if you sell physical goods, want shoppers who start on Etsy, or need a platform to calculate sales tax or EU VAT. Quay does not offer those. It also does not stamp a PDF, stream video, or host a file over the upload cap.
If the product is a download and the audience is already yours, Harbor is open with email and password. Connect Stripe before you take a real card.
